Our Story

Built at a meetup.
For every meetup.

How a small networking frustration turned into a platform for connecting communities.

The Problem

It all started at a KDD (Korean Designers and Developers) meetup — a vibrant non-profit community where creatives and technologists gather to share ideas, collaborate, and network.

The energy was incredible. But exchanging LinkedIn profiles meant standing in circles, pulling out phones one by one. It worked — but it was slow. We couldn't stop thinking: what if we could connect with everyone in the room at once, and spend more time actually talking?

"What if there was a way to share our profiles with everyone at once, so we could spend more time connecting and less time scanning?"

The Idea

Instead of exchanging profiles one-by-one, what if everyone in the room could instantly see each other's profiles without the friction?

That's when SocialMeshHub was born — inspired by the concept of a mesh network, where every node connects to multiple others, creating a web of connections rather than isolated links.
